Key challenges included: Compressor drawing current well above rated RLA; Overheating affecting reliability and increasing failure risk Cabinet unable to maintain dependable operation; Need to restore cooling performance quickly to support venue operations; Requirement to complete works properly rather than apply a short-term fix
Our Solution
Acro Refrigeration carried out fault diagnosis and full compressor replacement to return the cabinet to service. Key actions included: Electrical and refrigeration testing to confirm excessive compressor amperage and overheating; Removal of the failed compressor; Installation of a new replacement compressor; Installation of new filter driers to protect the system; System evacuation, preparation and recommissioning; and Final testing to confirm correct operation and stable performance
